A politician was left red-faced after his trousers fell down when he was about to give a speech.
Javier Borrego flashed his undies to the crowd as they plunged to his ankles.
The MP for the left-wing Morena party in Mexico was at a public speaking event.
A video filmed from the audience shows Borrego holding the microphone and a page of notes in his hand.
He prepares to address the crowd, looks out into the audience, and straightens his glasses.
His baggy trousers suddenly slump south and the embarrassed politician immediately bends down to pick them up.
An audience members whoops in excitement and Borrego and his colleagues start to laugh.
He tells the crowd “Oh, sorry” before eventually managing to deliver his speech without further incident.

The wardrobe malfunction happened in Saltillo, Mexico, on 16 July.
His speech was during the launch of the party’s National Project 2024-2030 ahead of next year’s general election.
One local said: “That’s austerity.”
Another wrote: “Wow, even belts fail them.”
“They’re going to say it’s the opposition’s fault,” commented someone else.
