A reality star is facing nearly three years in jail after allegedly fighting with her landlord.
Laura Weyel, who finished third in the reality show Germany’s Next Topmodel in 2010, has lived in Bali for eight years.
The 38-year-old recently became embroiled in a physical row with her landlord who allegedly threatened Weyel and her seven-year-old daughter.

He subsequently filed a complaint against Weyel and she is now “scared” that she will encounter problems with the Indonesian judicial system.
She claimed she had to “clear her bank account” to prevent the local cops from arresting her last week, but believes the “pressure is growing” for them to take action.
Weyel said she feels “powerless” and “ignored” as the police threaten her with a jail term of two years and eight months.
She has launched a fundraising campaign on GoFundMe to “relocate my family and myself to Germany to escape our current, increasingly dangerous situation”.

The former model, who now works as an Emotional Intelligence Coach, shared a video on Instagram for her 20,000 followers.
She said: “I didn’t hurt anyone, I defended myself and protected my child.”
“I’m trapped, with no rights as someone from the West.
“Now I could be arrested next week.”
Indonesia is known for its strict laws and corruption in the justice system.
The German Foreign Office warns citizens of the legal dangers in the Southeast Asian country, as reported by Need to Know.
They state: “Even if minor offenses are suspected, such as property damage, foreigners, especially in Bali, are often taken into custody by the Indonesian police.
“If violations of Indonesian laws are suspected, one may have to expect long pre-trial detention periods, expensive and yet sometimes inadequate legal defence, and prison conditions that are hazardous to health.”
Weyel said she “cannot leave the country because it’s a criminal case”.
As a result, she said she feels like she is currently “living in a cage”.
She has appealed for financial help as she seeks the best legal options available to her.
