Britney Spears has posted a new cryptic Instagram message following the arrest of her ex-boyfriend Justin Timberlake for driving while intoxicated (DWI).
Timberlake was arrested on Tuesday in Upstate New York after reportedly running a stop sign and veering out of his lane. According to court documents, he exhibited signs of intoxication, including glassy eyes and the strong odor of alcohol.
Timberlake, who is married to Jessica Biel and has two children, was pulled over after spending the evening with friends at the American Hotel in Sag Harbor.

TMZ released video footage showing Timberlake driving his grey 2025 BMW UT, which matched the police’s description.
The officer noted that Timberlake had slow speech, was unsteady on his feet, and performed poorly on field sobriety tests. He was officially charged with misdemeanor DWI, handcuffed, and arrested after allegedly refusing a breathalyzer test. His mugshot, showing him with glassy eyes, was released following the arrest.
Timberlake has a court date set for July 26, which clashes with a scheduled performance in Krakow, Poland, on his Forget Tomorrow World Tour.
However, his lawyer, Edward Burke Jr., confirmed he won’t need to appear in person for the court date.
In response to the news, Britney shared a photo of a cocktail with a flower and the message: “It’s the little things you know.”
She followed this with a dancing video from her hotel room, showcasing new outfits, including a white and neon green mini dress and a black and cream cocktail dress.
She disabled comments on the posts to avoid speculation. Britney and Justin dated from 1999 to 2002, and their relationship has been the subject of much public interest, particularly after Britney’s memoir, “The Woman In Me,” was released last year.
In the book, Britney detailed their relationship, including an abortion she had after Justin said he wasn’t ready to be a father.
She also accused him of infidelity during their time together. Justin has not publicly commented on the claims made in her memoir.
