A haircut hero rushed to a cop’s aid mid-way through trim after spotting a man attacking him.
Kyle Whiting was in the barbers when he saw the man standing near the police officer at a bus stop.
The man – in a black jacket and grey hoodie – clobbered the cop forcing him to the ground.

Without a moment’s hesitation, Kyle dashed out with his barber’s cape still around his neck.
He pulled the man off of the officer as other witnesses gathered around to help.
Another cop from a marked police car parked around the corner then ran over.
A second squad vehicle then pulled up in Lovely Lane, Warrington, Cheshire.
The drama happened on Tuesday (17 Dec) at 11:40am.
The officer who was attacked suffered a broken finger in the scuffle and also has sore ribs.
Kyle, who was getting a trim in Haron Barber’s, told Need To Know: “I was sitting in the chair getting the back of my head shaved.
“The barber stopped and looking in the mirror for about 10 seconds, then went to the window and started recording.
“I got up from my chair, it all happened so quickly.
“Grateful to have helped, and glad no one else was hurt.
“My sister is a police officer, and if she was in this situation, I’d appreciate a Good Samaritan coming in to help her if it is safe to do so.
“No one is paid enough to be punched in the face unless your Conor McGregor.”
UK Cop Humour, which shared the video, joked: “Not all heroes wear capes…but this one does.
“Can we take a moment to applaud this fella, mid-haircut, but dashing out to aid a copper.
“Not enough people like you around.
“Kyle was keeping an eye on what was going on outside, because his sister is a police officer.
“Upon seeing the single-crewed officer attacked, he dashed out mid-haircut without a thought for his own safety to assist the officer.”
A Cheshire Constabulary spokesperson said: “Officers have thanked a member of the public for his support after an officer was assaulted in Warrington.
“The incident occurred at around 11.40am on Tuesday, 17 December in the Lovely Lane area.
“As the assault was taking place a member of the public from a nearby hairdressers intervened to assist the officer.

“He has since been passed to the care of health professionals.”
