The uni student was nicked on suspicion of drug production following several months of investigation.
The police say he had transformed his home into a fully-equipped lab, where he produced methamphetamines and several other synthetic drugs.

In the loft, he mixed and prepared chemical compounds, it is alleged.
And he is suspected of converting the ground floor of the building into a distillation facility, as reported by Need To Know.
Undercover detectives who carried out surveillance on the house say he opened the ground-floor windows several times a day.

Every time he ventilated the clandestine lab, strong and distinctive chemical odours were released into the air.
Officers entered the house last Friday (21 Mar) when the student was at home alone.
They found a room on the ground floor illuminated by a faint red light.
They came across a large table cluttered with flasks, beakers, and borosilicate glass burettes designed to withstand the high temperatures required for drug production.
They also found several chemical precursors that can only be sourced through the black market or the dark web.

In the loft, they came across several drug doses ready for distribution.
Among them, they found methamphetamine, MDMA, DMT, DOM, and DOB, as well as “stamps” soaked in LSD and DOM.

The police in Novara, west of Milan, say the property is one of the largest clandestine meth labs ever found in Italy.
The student has not been named, but local media say he is passionate about chemistry and is a fan of the TV series Breaking Bad.
