A homeowner was forced to frantically try to push water away from his home as Storm Claudia batters Britain.
The man used a squeegee to stop it from getting into his home.
Heavy rain today (14 Nov) caused flooding in his street.
He struggled to do so claiming it was hampered by blocked drains in the road.
It happened in the picturesque High Street, Lewes, East Sussex.

The man – who didn’t want to be named – eventually managed to clear the water, as reported on Need To Know.
He then frantically tried to unblock the drain on his doorstep to prevent another flood, as the rain continued to fall.
Storm Claudia, has brought intense downpours and escalating flood risk for much of England and Wales.
According to the Met Office, amber warnings are in force today (14 Not) until midnight in affected regions.
It is estimated 60–80 mm of rain will fall in just 24 hours.
It is the equivalent of a month’s typical rainfall for many areas.
