The Adelaide Oval will host the third match of the iconic rivalry between home nation Australia and England.
The 53,500 seater stadium is the only of the five to enforce the ban which was first attempted in 2006, as reported by Need To Know.
Supporters were banned from doing Mexican waves and bringing in beach balls to create a more serious atmosphere.
Fortunately the ban never caught on with the ashes still boasting an incredibly lively atmosphere.
However, this year the third match, which will take place from 17 to 21 December, will be bursting the beach ball bubble.

A spokesperson for the Adelaide Oval said: “A person may not bring the following items into Adelaide Oval unless permitted by AOSMA.
“Inflatable items including beach balls, receptacles, devices or structures.
“Patrons who do not comply with the Conditions of Entry will not be permitted entry.
“Patrons who have been admitted but subsequently fail to comply with the Conditions of Entry may be removed from Adelaide Oval without refund of any entry fee.”
England will be looking to bounce back from defeat in the first Ashes Test.
Ben Stokes’ side lost by eight wickets within two days in Perth.
The second Test starts on Thursday (4 Dec) in Brisbane.
