And with people’s bellies full of cheese, chocolate and leftover meats, the 42-year-old has explained how to tackle the post-festive bloat, reports NeedToKnow.

In a clip, racking up 72,000 views and over a thousand likes, he shares which particular fruits can help.
“Science shows that these high-fibre fruits will not cause bloating,” the doctor, from California, US, said.
To improve gut health, he suggests eating more foods high in fibre, especially those rich in Vitamin C.
He said: “This has been shown to increase the foot but bacteria for optimal gut health.
“These fruits are listed on the low bloat or low FODMAP list.
“If you have irritable bowel syndrome, or if you suffer from bloating but still want options for high-fibre fruits, you should try some of these and see if you can tolerate them.”
The fruits he advises are blueberries, strawberries, kiwis, guava, papaya and pineapple, with up to one cup per day a must.
He added: “Certain fruits support digestion better than others by improving gut motility, feeding beneficial bacteria and being easier to tolerate for sensitive stomachs.
“Science shows these fruits are safe, but many other ‘healthy’ foods could be the hidden cause of bloating.”
Users have flocked to the comments to share their reactions.
“Guava and oranges have been my top choices this winter. Thank you doc,” said Roopam.
Gillian added: “I eat blueberries and kiwi most days very beneficial and don’t cause bloating.”
