An American student died of an allergic reaction after eating a sandwich on holiday.
Avarie Anne Tierney is believed to have consumed cashew nuts in her sarnie.
She had reportedly tried to communicate to staff that she had an allergy.

The police said her subsequent reaction was probably caused by a language barrier.
The student, 21, was visiting the Italian capital Rome on an Erasmus trip when tragedy struck on Wednesday (2 Apr).
She reportedly visited an eatery with friends.
Avarie felt unwell immediately after finishing her sandwich and realised she was having an allergic reaction.
She rushed to her accommodation not far from the restaurant to take a dose of cortisone.
However, she suffered a respiratory crisis in the car park and went into anaphylactic shock.
She collapsed to the ground and her friends called the emergency services, as reported by Need To Know.
Paramedics gave her two doses of cortisone and performed cardiac massages on the young woman for 30 minutes.
Sadly, they were unable to save her life.
The police are waiting for the results of an autopsy to confirm her exact cause of death.
Investigators are also reconstructing the last moments of her life to find out how she ended up suffering the fatal reaction.
Avarie was a student at the evangelical Biola University, in Los Angeles, California, US.
She posted multiple photos of her visiting Rome’s hotspots on her Instagram page in the weeks leading up to her tragic passing.
As well as visiting landmarks such as the Colosseum, Tierney also attended an AS Roma football match at the Stadio Olimpico.
She loved the Italian capital so much she posted a sign that read “Rome Sweet Home.”
She had been staying in Rome since the end of January.
The investigation continues.
