A lucky woman drowning in a fast-moving river was saved by quick-thinking locals.
The victim, identified only as Rafaela, was spotted struggling in the rapid currents.
Luckily, local boatmen on the river saw her fighting to keep afloat in the murky water.

They threw her a lifebuoy that she managed to grab hold of just as she was slipping under the surface.
The young woman floated towards their vessel while fighting for breath.
A crew member hung over the side of the boat to grab her hand.
A colleague then helped to hoist her onboard the vessel.
She was seen struggling for breath on the deck.
In another scene, police officers moved her onto her side as she coughed up large amounts of water after making it back to shore.
The rescue was filmed in Vigia, east of Manaus, Brazil, on Saturday (26 Apr).
Rafaela was given first aid at the scene before being transported to a nearby hospital, as reported by Need To Know.
She is said to be in a stable condition.
The police have confirmed that they are investigating how she ended up in the river.
The video went viral on Instagram with 453,000 views and hundreds of comments.
One local said: “Thank you for helping this drowning woman.”

“They did it right, if they went in the water they would die together, throwing the float helped a lot,” added Paulinho.
Clara remarked: “They couldn’t jump into the water because it was too swollen.”
