Football fans clashed with stewards and cops at a friendly match between Brentford and Borussia Mönchengladbach.
The Premier League club drew 2-2 with the German club at the Gtech Community Stadium.
But the pre-match was marred by the ugly scenes outside the away end of the 17,500-capacity ground.
One fan – watching from the balcony of a flat nearby – filmed as a dozen supporters were embroiled in the brawl.
Some pushed and shoved the hi-viz wearing workers.
Cops then formed a ring around the thugs before they were seen sitting down by the away end in the East Stand.
Officers then formed a barrier to contain them by the ground.
The game took place on Friday (8 Aug) night.
The match was attended by lots of families with young kids.
It was their last warm-up one before The Bees kick off their season away to Nottingham Forest on Sunday (17 Aug), as reported on Need To Know.
One local fumed: “For f*ck’s sake.
“Neanderthals.”
Mike Keylow added: “Whoever scraps over the colour of their shirt is a mug.”
Another said: “Madness.”
A fourth joked: “On the first day of football.”
The Met Police and Brentford have been approached for comment.
