A van driver who demolished a set of traffic lights tried to reverse away before walking off just as police arrived at the scene,
The incident happened in Hayes, west London on Sunday, (1 Mar) as reported by Need To Know.
The video showed the white motor with a damaged front resting against a nearly flattened traffic light pole.

The suspected driver, an unidentified man wearing a pink turban, appeared unsteady on his feet before getting into the driver’s seat.
After the vehicle failed to start, he then stood next to the van as a group of people gathered.
As a police car pulled up, the driver sauntered away past other people who told him to “run”.
The person filming the clip could be heard saying it was “the maddest accident”.
They added, “Police are here and my guy is just trying to run away, he’s a madman, he’s falling all over the place”.
Viewers have been left stunned by the clip.
Another added: “Can’t park there mate.”
Someone else said: “Dude is just walking around casually.”

When approached for a comment, a Met Police spokesperson told Jam Press the force is “unable to follow up collisions not immediately happening”.
