A TikTok doctor has revealed how to tell if someone has gone under the knife.
Dr Anthony Youn, 48, from Detroit, US, shares his experience and knowledge with his 7.6 million TikTok followers.
In a recent clip, he starts with tell-tale signs of a facelift and suggests looking around the person’s ears for scars – which would be particularly visible if carried out by a bad surgeon.
For breast implants, the popular YouTuber said to look out for really thin women who have large round breasts, before giving the example of US actress Denise Richards, 51.
Next, for tummy tucks, Dr Youn pointed out looking at scars around a person’s belly button and another from hip to hip.
He uploaded his top tips to his TikTok (@tonyyounmd), which has racked up over 528,000 views.
One social media user said: “Ouch. I don’t know if I could do a face lift.”
Another TikTok watcher added: “It’s always obvious. Most of Hollywood stars made me expert just looking at them lol.” [sic]
Another person commented: “And the lobe of the ear is joined closer to the face.”
Other viewers pointed out people may have scars on their body due to medical operations.
One person said: “I’m having my jaw replaced-so I’ll have scars around my ears, but don’t get a facelift out of it”.
Another social media user added: “I have a belly button scar from laparoscopic surgeries.”
