Meet the woman who is the spitting image of Amy Winehouse – who says people even stop her in the street to take pictures.
Imra Bolkvadze, 23, from Batumi, Georgia, is a dead ringer for the late Back to Black singer, who died in 2011 – complete with big black hair and winged eyeliner.
Imra says she is often stopped in the street by strangers who point out the similarities –something which she has only recently noticed herself.
But despite being a spitting image of Amy, that’s where the similarities end – as Imra, a school psychologist, admits she can’t sing and isn’t covered in tattoos.
“It’s a big compliment to say I look like Amy, she was completely unique,” Imra told Jam Press.
“I was 11 when she passed away. It was actually the first time I had heard her music as it was playing all the time on TV.
“For the past few years I’ve had friends tell me I look like her.
“I’ve been stopped and one time a photographer stopped to take photographs of me because of our likeness!
“I think Amy was just great and lovely on stage. There’s no one quite like her.
“Unfortunately I can’t sing, let alone sing like her!
“I don’t have any tattoos either so it’s just our faces that look similar.”
Irma uploaded a side-by-side snap of herself and the late Amy Winehouse after being told of the likeness.
She shared a snap of herself with the famous singer’s heavy eyeliner and beehive-style hair on Instagram, but users were torn and couldn’t decide who she resembled most – Amy or Lady Gaga.
Commenting on the likeness to Amy, one user said: “Spot on. Wow.”
However, other viewers were convinced she better resembled 36-year-old Gaga.
One person commented: “Wow. If you did your hair and makeup a certain way you also look like Lady Gaga.”
“She looks more like Lady Gaga than Winehouse,” agreed another user.
Someone else added: “Looks more like lady Gaga.”
“Give her a blonde wig she’d do better as Gaga,” another person said.
Imra said: “All my friends tell me that I look like Amy Winehouse although I never tried to look like her.
“When I decided to do the liner like Amy and uploaded the photo, people went crazy!
“I received a lot of messages from people who told me that they thought it was an old photo of Amy. It was incredible.”
