Story from Jam Press (Abandoned Mansion) Pictured: Video grab - Robb explores the abandoned mansion. Explorer finds abandoned mansion with $100,000 of vintage clothing and grand piano left to rot An explorer has found an abandoned mansion left with $100,000 of vintage clothing and a grand piano left to rot. Robb, 40, from Long Beach, New York, is a full-time videographer who made the incredible discovery – and went on to search the US-based property. The videographer explored the mansion, situated in Kentucky, US, with another local explorer, who he met up with for the weekend. While there, they found the home chock full of “rare” and expensive designer garments – which keen thrifter Robb estimates amounted to $100,000 (USD). In a video posted on his YouTube channel, Robb enters the reception room where two large red sofas have been left, alongside stacks of photographs, paperwork and books. In what appears to be the old dining room, he finds chairs left in place by a huge fireplace and more random items scattered across the floor – leading Robb to believe the property has been looted. The urban explorer then comes across a grand piano in the middle of the entrance hall, as well as old children’s toys and collectable baseball cards. He then makes his way into the kitchen which has an old dumbwaiter, abandoned kitchen appliances and a 1980's-style fridge. The rooms are full of clothes and trainers, with one room featuring clothing rail full of what Robb believes are vintage pieces. Robb comes across more shoes and clothes, with shoes such as Nikes, Jordan Flints and Supremes. Robb also finds a Nintendo 64 and a very old computer. Onto the third floor, Rob finds another dumbwaiter – presumably used to transport meals to guests and residents. Each room upstairs is filled with old belongings, more clothes and a pair of baby Reebok trainers. Leaving the top floor, Robb heads down to the basement where he finds a huge tree trunk going stra

An explorer has found an abandoned mansion left with $100,000 of vintage clothing and a grand piano left to rot.

The videographer explored the mansion, situated in Kentucky, US, with another local explorer, who he met up with for the weekend.

While there, they found the home chock full of “rare” and expensive designer garments – which keen thrifter Robb estimates amounted to $100,000 (USD).

The urban explorer then comes across a grand piano in the middle of the entrance hall, as well as old children’s toys and collectable baseball cards.

He then makes his way into the kitchen which has an old dumbwaiter, abandoned kitchen appliances and a 1980’s-style fridge.

Leaving the top floor, Robb heads down to the basement where he finds a huge tree trunk going straight through the ceiling.

Heading back upstairs to finally leave the huge mansion, Robb says: “It’s probably missing jewellery, some other things worth money, maybe electronics, but basically everything that they left here has been thrown all around the house – especially clothes, there were clothes scattered in every single room.

“Such cool fireplaces, antiques, this place is beautiful and I can only imagine what it looked and felt like when it was brand new and the place was really thriving with a family living in here and it just being a very happy, nice place to live.”

“It was very cool going inside there, being able to check out all the old wood work, fireplaces and everything left behind by the former owner,” Rob told Jam Press.

“It always feels kind of sad being inside of a place like this with belongings left behind because it makes you think of the situation the owners had been in to up and leave it like that.

“The strangest thing I saw was all the seeming perfect vintage clothing left behind. It was all pretty rare or expensive designer pieces that probably amounted to $100,000.

“I am into old clothing and thrifting so I am a bit knowledgeable on what I was looking at and now that I think about it, it depends on what was in those piles it could have been way more than $100,000.”

It is not clear why the mansion was left to rot, nor who the previous owners are.
