Story from Jam Press (Turkey Teeth) Pictured: David Kosir after getting his teeth done. 'Have fun doing this every 10 years': Man leaves TikTok users shocked getting BUDGET teeth shaving in Turkey – having already splashed out £13,000 on mouth. A man has been slammed on TikTok after flying to Turkey for budget veneers, having already spent £13,000 on his teeth – with users saying they "feel sorry" for him. David Kosir, 26, from Melbourne, Australia, jetted over 9,000 miles last month to complete his dream of a perfect smile. Having already forked out $23,000 AUD (£12,990) for ten veneers in his home country, David soon realised he could save thousands by hopping on a plane and completing the procedure abroad. Filming himself mid-procedure while sitting in the dentist chair, the energy meter operator shows off his shaven down teeth to the camera. He uploaded the video onto TikTok (@plasticbotchedboy) with the caption: "Day 1 down, very exciting times #turkeyteeth #chompers," which has been viewed 1.2million times. Despite being chuffed he was on course to achieving his dream smile for a budget price, many on social media were quick to ridicule him. One TikTok user commented: "Have fun doing this every 10 years." While another user said: "I know people who did the same thing and foods get in-between and starts to rot. "Smells worse then the toilet they say [sic]." A third social media user commented: "No I’m terrified." Another person wrote: "So sorry for you [sic]." Referring to the Family Guy character, Glenn Quagmire another person said: "u kinda look like quagmire [sic]." A fifth TikTok user added: "American Horror Story whooo [sic]." However some also complimented the procedure with one person adding: "Fabulous, forget the haters mate, I'm getting mine done too and can't wait!" Despite the name calling, he's still pleased with the £1,723 (€2000) procedure. "The thing is, I’m not into a natural look at all," David told NeedToKnow.o

A man has been slammed on TikTok after flying to Turkey for budget veneers, having already spent £13,000 on his teeth – with users saying they “feel sorry” for him.

He uploaded the video onto TikTok (@plasticbotchedboy) with the caption: “Day 1 down, very exciting times #turkeyteeth  #chompers,” which has been viewed 1.2million times.

Despite being chuffed he was on course to achieving his dream smile for a budget price, many on social media were quick to ridicule him.

One TikTok user commented: “Have fun doing this every 10 years.”

While another user said: “I know people who did the same thing and foods get in-between and starts to rot.

“Smells worse then the toilet they say [sic].”

A third social media user commented: “No I’m terrified.”

Another person wrote: “So sorry for you [sic].”

Referring to the Family Guy character, Glenn Quagmire another person said: “u kinda look like quagmire [sic].”

A fifth TikTok user added: “American Horror Story whooo [sic].”

However some also complimented the procedure with one person adding: “Fabulous, forget the haters mate, I’m getting mine done too and can’t wait!”

Despite the name calling, he’s still pleased with the £1,723 (€2000) procedure.

“The thing is, I’m not into a natural look at all,” David told NeedToKnow.online.

“I did my top teeth first separately in Australia by getting veneers and I received so many compliments in my personal life.

“So after the great feedback I was very eager to get my bottom teeth done, then I could have a full mouth of perfect teeth!

“It was just so much cheaper and the quality of work was still very good with the dentist I found having over 15 years’ experience.

“I did a lot of research and it saved me a bucket load of money.

“It really was such an easy, pain free process for me.

“I also think there’s a misconception that you can get veneers or crowns and then you’re set or you can be lazy with the up-keep which is not true.

“I’ve always had very good dental hygiene and will continue to as it’s very important to me to have a healthy mouth overall.”

After the week-long procedure, David rested up for a few days before jetting back to Australia – and has been extremely happy with his new set of gnashers, despite the online mocking.

David says he ‘loves’ his new teeth and the ‘fake aesthetic’ (Picture: Jam Press)

David, who also got a hair transplant during his trip to Turkey, has continued to upload videos on his procedures.

He added: “I was very thrilled and shocked at how good they turned out. I did have a little concern that the colour would not match but they really did such a great job.”

“I’m very into the fake plastic aesthetic which I share online through TikTok and it’s definitely not popular there.

“I’ve read every type of nasty comment and people wishing death on me it’s really just ridiculous.

“I always find it funny how people will comment that I must be so insecure to do something so drastic to my teeth.

“When in reality, I never hated my original teeth, I just preferred a ‘fake’ perfect smile and I have the income to do it so why not?

“I’ve never been one to let a strangers opinion change how I feel or what aesthetic I like, and that has remained the same!

“I love my teeth and I find it comical that people spend so much of their life leaving negative comments about strangers online.

“I will eventually have to replace them, my dentist was very upfront about the maintenance and replacement that will be needed in 10 to 15 years time.

“But ultimately I knew this going in and to me this was worth the trade off.

“For those 10 to 15 years of confidence I get from it, it is worth the price.”
