A property in Rockwell, North Carolina has hit the market for $675,000 (£604,000) and its unique look has left social media users terrified.
The three-bedroom, pyramid-shaped home strikes an uncanny resemblance to one of the seven wonders and will certainly save you a trip to Egypt.
The unusual building, aptly dubbed “The Pyramids” boasts not only a unique design but also 18 acres of green space with banana, apple and fig trees.

Designed in 1987 by architect James Kluttz, the property is split into two separate ‘pyramids’ with red and blue roofs.
However the shape of home is not suitable for those who are claustrophobic – pictures reveal buyers will likely have to sleep in a single bed in a small space directly under a slanted roof, and the corridors are tiny with no sunlight breaking through.
Not to worry though, the triangular homes also features two liveable areas connected by a breezeway with a sun room, screened porch and covered deck, as well as open floor plan with kitchen, dining and living room with a wood burning fireplace and oven.
One of the pyramids also features a huge garage and additional rooms for other use.
Scattered across the pyramid-shaped roof are several skylights and there are seven bathrooms in total.
However, the 3,687 sq ft property’s strange exterior has viewer concerned about who the previous owners might have been, with images shared on social media.
“What in the Netflix cult documentary is going on here,” wrote one user.
“I really want to know the backstory of this house,” wrote someone else.
“Are there really SEVEN bathrooms and 3 bedrooms and if so, why??” commented a third user. “
No. No no no no. Hard pass. I’d feel like the walls were closing in on me,” said another user.
Another user said: “Great place to get mummified.’ “
There are like 4 windows…holy lack of natural light! There is a reason pyramids are tombs vs. houses to actually live in,” said someone else.
“This house gives off the creepiest vibes both inside and out!” said someone else.
However, one person seemed quite taken with the pyramid house.
“It’s quirky…AND I LOVE IT!!! Looks surprisingly cozy inside,” they wrote. [sic]
