In the clip, which has racked up a huge 6.9 million views, Benji recreates the frozen yoghurt block dessert that he says has helped him lose more than six stone – and people online love it. "Being almost 300 lbs, I felt like a failure and became very disappointed in myself despite being very successful in every other area of my life," Benji, who is from Philadelphia, US, told NeedToKnow.co.uk. "I am a very disciplined and dedicated person, and I knew that I had the potential to lose weight. 'When I set a goal for myself, I make it happen. "Being an online personality, you are always posting yourself and, therefore, becoming a target for bullies. "I was receiving hate comments and messages daily for simply existing as an obese person. "Aside from that, I was constantly feeling out of breath for doing simple tasks like going upstairs and cleaning around the house. "Being the fashion lover that I am, I have to say the part that I disliked the most about being overweight is that it is very difficult to find nice and trendy clothes in bigger sizes." A man has gone viral after sharing a fakeaway ‘McFlurry’ alternative dessert that helped him lose over six stone – leaving social media users stunned.

Benji Xavier, 26, has become well-known on TikTok (@benjixavier) after he shared his weight loss journey – he now has over 3.2 million followers on the platform.

The full-time content creator is always sharing healthy recipes online to inspire others, and in a recent clip, has wowed viewers with a tasty McDonald’s-inspired treat.

Benji’s alternative dessert has proven to be especially popular online after the 26-year-old shared a step-by-step video on how to make it.

He starts by mixing 300g of non-fat Greek yoghurt, a tablespoon of vanilla extract and some honey into a bowl.

He then pours the yoghurt mixture onto a tray lined with baking paper.

Next, he tops the mixture with strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, almonds and dark chocolate, and places it in the freezer to set.

Once frozen, Benji then breaks apart the yoghurt block into smaller pieces and can be seen enjoying a bite of his tasty dessert.

Viewers have been left obsessed with the healthy recipe and the video has over 894,000 likes.

Benji believes his weight loss would not have been possible without his healthy eating and has never felt better.

He added: “I’ve seen improvement and change in every single aspect of my life from my overall health to physical appearance.

“My mental state has never been better.

“I am the healthiest and the most confident that I have ever been in my life, and I attribute it mostly to my healthy eating and active lifestyle.

“I wake up every morning feeling energised, a stark difference to the heavy and sluggish feeling I carried before.”
