Two women have left social media users horrified after sharing a video of a supermarket snack that they claim was filled with dead ants.
Yasmina Salaymeh, 30, and her sister Nadine, 17, claim to have purchased the frozen raspberry treat from a supermarket and were excited to share it with their followers.
However, while filming a live TikTok, they came across a horrifying find – as the Trü Frü product appears to contain “a colony of ants”.

The clip (@itsyasmina ) has gathered over 1.2 million views so far. “Honestly, we were shocked, a little grossed out, but mostly shocked,” Yasmina, an entrepreneur, from Houston, Texas, told http://NeedToKnow.co.uk
“Especially because we were in the middle of telling everyone on TikTok live how good the snack was. “We buy these quite often but have never bit them in half.
“We usually eat them whole but wanted to show everyone on live the inside!
“To our surprise and everyone else, there was a colony of ants.
“And not just one or two… but several.”

In the clip, the women discuss how much they love the snack before Yasmina bites it in half. But upon doing so, she claims that the raspberry was filled with tiny ants.
The duo sit in shock, laughing at the camera, and can’t believe their eyes.
Nadine even takes a photo of the raspberry to show it up close to the camera, where the insects appear to be hidden inside the fruit.
The clip was captioned: “Bugs in trü frü frozen raspberries during a TikTok live as we were talking about how good they are.” [sic]
The post has so far gathered 142,200 likes and thousands of comments from users.
Kayla said: “She ain’t spit that out fast enough for me.”
Randi commented: “I eat these as a whole I’ve probably ate so many bugs.”
Mariah added: “Not me seeing this after I just ordered some from Target.”
“The way I would’ve SCREAMED,” said Mary.
“New fear unlocked,” commented Brenna.
“NOOO I LITERALLY LOVE THOSE AND EAT THEM WHOLE,” wrote another gutted fan. [sic]
Yasmina tagged the company in the video and claims they reached out to her to ask for an email address and to “further investigate” the incident, but she alleges not to have heard back since.
Yasmina said: “The company is very active on TikTok so it’s shocking to me that they have no comment.
“The company also liked a comment on their TikTok of someone saying that we needed to ‘grow up it’s just ants’, and that to me is very unprofessional.
“When I called them out on Instagram for liking that comment, of course, they apologised and said that it must have been done by accident.”
Jam Press has contacted Tru Fru for comment.
