An adventurer has shared the inside of a house frozen in time – nearly falling through the floor in the process.
Professional urban explorer Dave, better known as Freaktography online, was investigating the first floor of a cabin when his leg fell through the soft flooring.
Thankfully, he was unharmed and continued his search through the home – with his 84,000 followers left mesmerised by the findings, including items believed to be from 60s, 70s and 80s.
“Things were a bit sketchy in the house,” Dave, from Ontario, Canada, told http://NeedToKnow.co.uk.
“Things were warped, crooked and the floor was extremely soft.
“Severe decay on the top floor from a hole in the roof has rotted right through to the ceiling and walls, down to the floor upstairs.
“Not realizing how soft the floor was, my leg went right through and into the 1st floor, I managed to think fast and I caught myself before I dropped right down!”
The house, in Southern Ontario, Canada, has seen severe water damage, causing large sections of the ceiling to collapse.
A bed, located on the first floor, is also slowly falling through the floor, sinking into the room below.
In the clip, upon ascending the stairs, Dave is greeted by a baby’s cot, covered with blankets and set next to another bed, commenting that they have “left everything behind”.
A calendar from 1983 suggests the date the property was potentially abandoned – though this is not confirmed – along with vintage technology such as a toaster, old radio and four vacuum cleaners throughout the house.
Social media users have been left stunned by the time capsule home, with many wondering why the owners left it in a hurry.

“The upstairs was disgusting. But this was a surprise that no vandals had messed with it. It was a good explore,” said Jean.
“Where do the people go?? Just leave everything and go. If someone passed away where is the family. I hope this doesn’t happen to me! Gone and forgotten,” said Nancy. [sic]
