Story from Jam Press (Real Life Tarzan) Pictured: DeWet du Toit. 'I'm a real-life TARZAN but I'm still looking for my Jane,' says man dedicating his life to being King of the Jungle A real-life Tarzan obsessed with the legendary character says he loves his life as King of the Jungle – but is still looking for his Jane. DeWet du Toit is known as Tarzan of the Tsitsikamma, a national park in South Africa, and has spent three decades training to get a ripped physique to help him swing in the trees. In a set of shots, the 35-year-old can be seen showing off his oiled-up muscles, wearing nothing but a loin cloth. An actor, DeWet, who is originally from Nambia and Botswana, is now headed to Hollywood to star in a new TV show, 'Tarzan of George'. “I admire Tarzan’s forcefulness, his love and respect for nature, and the fact that he kills only to eat or in self-defense,” said DeWet. “His yes means yes and his no means no. “I just want to show people not to let go of their dreams. “You must do it for yourself, no one is going to hold your hand and do it for you.” Unfortunately, there is no Jane to join him on the journey. He said: “Tarzan is still looking for his Jane. “It’s tough maintaining a relationship in the film industry. “Now and then you fall in love, but if you’re always out and about, it makes it hard to keep a relationship going. “Tarzan is a bit lonely in the jungle.” In the five-part TV series, viewers will get to meet his family and travel with him to Los Angeles, where the real-life Tarzan goes to Hollywood Boulevard in his costume and also meets Tinsel Town head honchos in the hope of future glory. Speaking of his acting gig, DeWet said “I’m glad I persevered. “There was a time when I thought it wasn’t worth it, that I should just let it go. “There have been tough times, but luckily I didn’t listen to those who told me I’d never make it.” But DeWet also has a project with his twin and sideki

A real-life Tarzan obsessed with the legendary character says he loves his life as King of the Jungle – but is still looking for his Jane.

“I admire Tarzan’s forcefulness, his love and respect for nature, and the fact that he kills only to eat or in self-defense,” said DeWet.

“His yes means yes and his no means no.

“I just want to show people not to let go of their dreams.

“You must do it for yourself, no one is going to hold your hand and do it for you.”

Unfortunately, there is no Jane to join him on the journey.

He said: “Tarzan is still looking for his Jane.

“It’s tough maintaining a relationship in the film industry.

“Now and then you fall in love, but if you’re always out and about, it makes it hard to keep a relationship going.

“Tarzan is a bit lonely in the jungle.”

In the five-part TV series, viewers will get to meet his family and travel with him to Los Angeles, where the real-life Tarzan goes to Hollywood Boulevard in his costume and also meets Tinsel Town head honchos in the hope of future glory.

Speaking of his acting gig, DeWet said “I’m glad I persevered.

“There was a time when I thought it wasn’t worth it, that I should just let it go.

“There have been tough times, but luckily I didn’t listen to those who told me I’d never make it.”

But DeWet also has a project with his twin and sidekick, Rudolf, with the pair spending up to six hours a day in the forest in search of locations to shoot Tarzan movies for their YouTube channel.

Helping to direct, produce, shoot, and market the movies, Rudolf is always on hand with a bottle of baby oil to make sure his brother’s muscle glisten just right.
