Chubby despot Kim Jong Un has renamed a type of fish – so North Koreans are more likely to eat them.
The dictator slammed the moniker ‘Jabo’ – which translates to ‘catch’ in English – saying it was not “good nuance”.
He also claimed the name was putting North Koreans off their food.
During a visit to Kumsanpho Fish Pickling Factory he suggested a name to “arouse appetite” amongst diners.
The 39-year-old proclaimed the new name to be ‘Pickled Small Fishes’.
The regime’s mouthpiece claims workers at the factory were “so moved” by the rebranding.
It also claimed Kim taught workers how to add a production date, expiration date and how to store the product – despite the factory being open since 2017.
The North Korean dictator is said to be a great lover of fish.
He is said to dine out on foie gras, lobster and caviar.
