A ‘goblin’ has been spotted emerging from a sewer by a stunned TV crew
The small creature pops its head up from a drain.
It then appears to notice it is being watched and swiftly ducks down to hide.
The peculiar scene was filmed in the centre of Monterrey, Mexico.

TV presenter Liz Villarreal inadvertently filmed the tiny creature while reporting on a different story for her Instagram fans.
Local telly weatherman Nelson Valdez said: “While covering a story for her Instagram page on Sunday, host Liz Villarreal captured a small, strange being ‘popping up’ from the ground in the centre of Monterrey.”
The weather reporter also claimed that the creature was not a rodent and was even wearing a pointed hat.
He said: “Before you say it, it is not a rat or possum or a person.
“Analyse the video carefully.
“You can see a kind of pointed ‘cap’.”
One local said: “They are goblins in the tunnels in the centre of Monterrey.
“Christians created those tunnels to move around without being detected and they left treasure down there.
“Orthodox priest created the goblins to take care of the booty.”
Yet others were less convinced:
One said: “Don’t misinform people.
“He is a homeless person who unfortunately enters that ‘hole’ to protect himself from the cold, I see him there every day.”
Roberto commented: “It’s a huge sewer rat.”
Martin joked: “It’s El Chapo.”
