Thalia Mara was filming a video at her church when she noticed a good-looking man standing in the background, who she says was a dead ringer for Hollywood heartthrob, Ryan Gosling.
Unfortunately, before the 26-year-old could exchange numbers with the man, he had left.
Determined to find him, Thalia took to TikTok, (@thmarad ), posting the video she took at the scene, in the hopes that someone could assist in finding her dream man.
And… it worked.
“I was surprised!,” Thalia, a content creator from Balneário Camboriú, Santa Catarina, Brazil told What’s The Jam.
“I didn’t think the video would take on so much attention.
“People commenting gave me his name.
“We went on a date and he even brought me a bouquet of flowers.
“We are in the process of getting to know each other at the moment.”
The man in question is 27-year-old Marcelo Guarnieri.
In the clip, which has gathered over 14.6 million views so far, Thalia pans the room before stopping when she spots the handsome man standing by a wall.
“To the man I saw in church and don’t know if I will see again, may God enlighten you and protect you,” the video caption read.
“I’ll never forget you.”
The post has gained 610,000 likes so far, as well as 6,000 comments from fans claiming the mystery man looks just like famous actor Ryan Gosling.
