A councillor was hurt after he was bitten by a horse while walking down the street.
The horror out-of-the-blue attack on Renato de Vicente was captured on CCTV.
The footage shows the equine, with a cart behind it, tied up to a tree trunk on the roadside.
But the councillor’s gaze is fixed elsewhere as he greets a woman walking towards him.
As he walks past the horse, it suddenly leans in and sinks its teeth into his chest.

De Vicente, 38, is jolted backwards and then immediately pulled in by the horse.

He briefly stumbles in his flip-flops and then walks away when the animal releases him a split-second later.
The councillor for São Manoel do Paraná, Brazil, later told local media: “It bit me and pulled me, which worsened the injury because it wasn’t just a bite.
“It was a very strong and intense pain.”
A snap shows how the town official was left with nasty bruises and a bite mark around his right nipple.
De Vicente was taken to the local hospital shortly after being bitten.
He was given a rabies vaccine and preventive treatment for possible infections.
The horse’s owner was located, collected the animal, and returned home after the attack on Saturday (2 Mar).
According to De Vicente, who’s from the centrist PSD party, the horse will be given a check-up to test for possible diseases.

He added: “I’m doing fine. Treated, vaccinated against rabies, and under medical observation.
“As for the animal, it’s not to blame. I just hope it doesn’t go through the same stress again to avoid a repeat of the situation.
“If it had been a child or an elderly person, it would have been much worse. As a parent, I wouldn’t wish that on anyone.
“Luckily, it happened to me, an adult. I appreciate everyone’s concern!
“It’s better to laugh about a moment like this than for someone to cry over something worse that could have happened. Thank God.”
