Michel was driving from Barranquilla to Cartagena in northern Colombia when he was attacked on Sunday (10 Mar).
He was first taken to the Sabanalarga Hospital before being transferred to the Universitario del Atlántico Hospital in Barranquilla where he passed away later that night.
An investigation into the young man’s death is ongoing.
The victim leaves behind three children aged one, 11 and 13.
