A five-year-old lad was found alive a day after he went missing in the woods, walking his dog.
Little Platon went for a stroll with his pet pup, Stepan, on Tuesday (2 Apr) evening.
But he failed to return home.
As night began to fall, the family called the emergency services and recruited friends and locals in a bid to track him down.

They began searching the vast forests near their home in Khrustalny village in Russia’s Far East.
Traffic cop, Roman Panin told local media: “We searched everywhere, in gardens, ditches.

And later the task was to comb through the forest, moving in a chain 20 metres apart from each other.
“Of course, there were difficulties.
“When the distress signal came, it was evening, so the searches went on in the darkness.”
The whole night passed without anyone from the 300-person-strong search party finding the missing lad.

But at 8am yesterday (3 Apr), Panin found little Platon trembling and sleepy as he lay on the ground not far from his home.
He was holding Stepan in his arms, as reported on Need to Know.

Panin recalled: “At that moment, I felt immense relief because he was found after all, and most importantly, he was alive.”
Although he was wearing a coat and a hat, Platon had got hypothermia from the sub-zero temperatures overnight.
He was taken to hospital and is now doing well.
