Kyle Peterson, a dedicated wrestling enthusiast, has disclosed that his vast collection of action figures is equivalent in value to his own home.
“I imagine the cost of my collection is on par with the worth of the house,” Kyle, a senior executive from Iowa, US, shared with Need To Know.
Over the span of 40 years, Kyle has diligently amassed over 13,000 distinct characters, tracing back to his childhood fascination.

His collection boasts iconic figures from various realms, including G.I. Joe, He-Man, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, as well as Marvel and DC characters.
This impressive assortment has not only captured Kyle’s passion but has also influenced the very structure of his living space, as he reveals, “In fact, he built his house 2,000 sq ft around his passion.”

Kyle reflects on his lifelong passion for collecting, stating, “I’ve always been a collector, my whole life, but people are always in total shock when they see it in person.”
Assessing the value of his extensive collection, he estimates it to be worth anywhere between £500,000 to £1 million.
Kyle attributes his affinity for collecting to his upbringing, mentioning, “Growing up, my dad was also a collector of action figures and helped me grow mine.”
Despite the enormity of his collection, Kyle expresses gratitude for the unwavering support he receives from his family and friends.
He continues to nurture his collection diligently, stating, “And I am still working on my collection every single day. It is always growing and expanding.” Remarkably, Kyle’s passion for action figures has never posed a hindrance to his romantic relationships.

Kyle, now happily married, reflects on his unabashed display of passion since childhood, stating, “I have always worn my passions and loves on my sleeve since I was a small child.”
Remarkably, his dedication to collecting has never caused discord in his relationships, as he shares, “I have never had an issue like others have where I had a relationship end because of my collecting or hobbies.”
Despite his wife not sharing the same level of enthusiasm for his hobby, Kyle appreciates her unwavering support. He acknowledges, “I’m not sure my wife thinks it’s the coolest thing in the world. She is not into it like I am, but she is very supportive.”

Discussing his most prized possessions, Kyle reveals, “As for his most expensive figure, he says it’s like the 1 of 31 Masters of the Universe classics, Spirit of King Grayskull. Or the 1 of 15 Ultimate Warrior Jakks classic Superstars.” However, when it comes to his all-time favorite figure, Kyle holds a special reverence for the LJN Grand Toys Ultimate Warrior.

Kyle shares, “It always holds a special place for me as it was such a huge deal for me to get as a child.”
Additionally, Kyle actively engages with his audience, regularly sharing insights into his impressive collection with his 40,100 subscribers on YouTube (@kylepeterson1980).
In one of his most popular videos, garnering over 187,000 views, he meticulously showcases his figures in boxes or glass cases, providing thorough commentary on each piece.
