A hooded crook smashed their way into a disabled pensioner’s car to steal their BLUE BADGE.
The thief, also wearing a face mask, was caught on CCTV in the residential street.
They walked along the pavement and then stopped after eyeing up the small hatchback.

They then broke the driver’s side window and reached in to grab it.
The thief then walked off with it in the opposite direction as the 11-second video came to an end.
The car was parked in a disabled bay so the Blue Badge needed to be on display.
It happened at 3:55am on Monday (6 May) in Southall, West London, as reported on Need To Know.
The victim’s daughter said: “This is my parent’s car that was broken into.
“They are elderly and disabled.
“Ealing Council have issued PCNs when they haven’t displayed their badge overnight and this is the result of keeping the badge on display overnight.
“There is just no winning.
“It’s a disability bay.”
Local, Marcus Stefan said: “I’m sorry, but it should not have been left in the car.
“You do not leave stuff of high-value in cars.”
Amira added: “So how else do you park in a disabled space without a disabled badge!?
“If you don’t leave it on display you can’t park there.”
Another said: “I genuinely feel that disabled badges need to be reformed.
“Maybe have them the same way they’ve done with the car tax disc that you use to slap in your window but you don’t anymore because it’s all digital.
“It’s probably the only way to stop s*itty people doing shit like this.”
Nito said: “Southall used to be a very safe place once upon a time.”
Jeevan fumed: “Scumbags.”
In June last year, it was reported that there were 1,484 Blue Badge thefts in the year up to March 2022.
This was a rise of 41% compared to the 1,055 the previous year, according to Department for Transport figures.
The Met Police has been approached for comment.
