A young woman got her finger stuck in a valve on her first day at work in a DIY shop.
Sylvana Aguilar shared the video of her sister Sofhia’s mishap on TikTok and it has since been watched 1.6million times.
It shows the young woman explaining her plight on her mobile phone as her index finger is trapped in the brass valve.

She is then seen being collected by her family and driven to a nearby fire station with her finger still in the valve.
The video shows how the metal piece had to be carefully cut open with an angle grinder.
It is then further taken apart with a pair of pliers and the young woman’s finger is finally freed.
She is all smiles as she leaves the fire station, even though she is now missing a fake nail on the affected digit.
It happened in Spain, as reported on Need To Know.
The video was captioned “First day of my sister working at a hardware store.”
Local Adriana asked: “Did they charge you for the part?”
Another joked: “And she still came back to collect her pay for the day.”
Danny enquired: “And then did she ask for holiday or time off?”
And Braian said: “The question is, does she still work at the hardware store?”
Sylvana replied the next day with a video showing Sofhia picking up some screws off the shop floor.
