A social media star says she was sacked from her supermarket job after simply posting a light-hearted video from work.
Ester Rodrigues posted the harmless, humorous video to Instagram on 23 March.
It had been watched 3.3m times at the time of writing, as reported on Need To Know.

It shows Ester smiling in her uniform as she tells the camera: “I work at the supermarket, and of course, they ask if I can recommend someone.
“I work at the supermarket, and of course, they ask me if I’m a slave.
“I work at the supermarket, and of course, the customer is always right.”
She posted another video exactly a month later telling her followers she had just been made redundant after working there for nearly three years.
She said: “I’ve just been sacked because of the video I posted about the routine of those who work in the supermarket.
“Kind of saw it coming, since I was called in, you know.
“That’s it, folks, people are disposable in the company, we’re just numbers.”
Despite her unfair dismissal, Ester – from Salvador, Brazil – remained upbeat.
She even posted a funny parody of her original video on Saturday (11 May) showing herself in her former workplace in her everyday clothes.
She says: “I’m unemployed, and of course, I only go to the place where I used to work to shop.
“I’m unemployed, and of course, people assume I’ll be destitute.
“I’m unemployed, and now I can empathise with the customers. Everything’s expensive.”
An upside of Ester’s time in the limelight is the fact that she has now accumulated 142,000 Instagram followers.
Her former employer has not commented on her allegations.
