In a heartbreaking incident, Levi Wright, the 3-year-old son of rodeo star Spencer Wright and his wife, Kallie, is in critical condition after driving his toy tractor into the Utah River.
The incident occurred when Kallie briefly went inside their Beaver County home, only to find Levi missing upon her return. After a frantic search, the unconscious boy was found about a mile downstream.
Mindy Clark, a family friend, has been sharing updates via social media and informed KUTV about the situation.

She recounted how Kallie, after discovering Levi’s overturned tractor, immediately called 911 and jumped into the water to search for her son.
The extent of time Levi spent in the water remains unknown, but he had drifted a significant distance.
The Beaver County Sheriff’s Office, although not naming Levi, confirmed receiving a call around 6 p.m. regarding a boy who had fallen into the river from a toy tractor. Life-saving measures were administered at the scene, and Levi was first transported to Beaver Valley Hospital before being airlifted to Primary Children’s Hospital.
On Wednesday, Clark provided an update on Facebook, noting that Levi was able to breathe and maintain his heartbeat independently.
However, the lack of oxygen had severely affected his brain. Clark expressed the family’s sorrow, indicating they felt Levi’s spirit might no longer be with them. Despite this, they planned to hold him close until his final moments.
In a surprising turn of events, doctors later suggested there might still be hope for Levi. Clark relayed that a doctor felt strongly about giving him more time, leaving a glimmer of hope for a miracle. The family urged not to give up on Levi yet.
As of May 22, Kallie shared that Levi was scheduled for an MRI and an EEG to monitor brain activity. She expressed profound gratitude for the overwhelming support and prayers they have received. Kallie also mentioned missing their other children, Brae and Steeley, who are being cared for by trusted individuals.
Levi’s father, Spencer Wright, 33, is a prominent figure in saddle bronc riding, ranked No. 40 globally. Spencer and his three brothers made history in 2014 when all four qualified for the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo, with Spencer ultimately winning the championship. Their family’s story has been documented in the book “The Last Cowboys” and featured on an episode of “60 Minutes.”
The Wright family continues to navigate this challenging time, holding onto hope for Levi’s recovery while being buoyed by the outpouring of love and support from their community.
