A woman has shared a disturbing story on TikTok, claiming that a man who saw her at Hooters used her car’s vehicle identification number (VIN) to track down her home address, contact her landlord, and ultimately obtain her phone number to ask her out on a date.
Kenzie Coleman (@kenzieacoleman) posted a video on TikTok, participating in the trend of dancing to a favorite voicemail. However, the voicemail she received from an unknown caller took a dark turn.
In the text overlay of her video, Coleman explains that the message reveals all the necessary details.

The voicemail begins with the man introducing himself: “Hey, this is Emmanuel. I work at Down South Repo, and I just wanted to let you know that I saw you at Hooters a couple months back getting into your car, and I looked up your VIN number and got your address.
Called your landlord—he gave me your phone number ’cause I thought you looked pretty, gorgeous, and beautiful, and very fertile, and I would like to take you out to Chili’s or O’Charley’s for a nice dinner between us two, so we can get to know each other better. Goodbye.”
Coleman’s video has since garnered 2.2 million views, with many viewers expressing shock and outrage over the voicemail’s content and the man’s invasive methods.
Comments flooded in, reflecting the general sentiment of disbelief and concern.
One user wrote, “I’m sorry…. WHAT!? This whole thing is unhinged but him saying FERTILE?!”
Another added, “Um I’m sorry…VIN NUMBER? LAND LORD???? VERY FERTILE?? CHILLIS??? that was wild from start to finish.”
A third comment simply stated, “Man there are SOOOOO many things wrong with this voicemail.”
Many commenters were particularly alarmed by the landlord’s role in the incident, expressing disbelief that he would share a tenant’s phone number with a stranger.
“I was shocked at VIN # but the landlord giving out the number just … my landlord would not be receiving next months rent,” one person noted.
Another urged, “You need to SUE your landlord!! Report him STAT!”
The bizarre and unsettling nature of the voicemail led some viewers to reference the “man or bear” debate, where women discuss feeling safer encountering a bear in the woods than a stranger.
One comment read, “Very fertile? I choose the bear, I can’t lol!”
