Two 19-year-old women inadvertently filmed their own deaths when the motorbike they were on, hit a tree.

Katerine Yulieth Cubillos Cárdenas was riding it and her pal, Selena Valentina Valencia Ramírez, was on the back.

Horror footage shows pillion passenger, Selena, holding her phone with her arm out as her friend rides at top speed.

Neither are wearing helmets, and the rider, Katerine, takes her eyes off the dimly lit road several times to look into the camera.

The pair can be heard whooping and boasting about their daring riding before the phone suddenly falls to the ground.

The noise of the bike’s motor can be heard descending in pitch before falling silent.

The women were found dead lying by the roadside by a taxi driver.

The accident happened when the motorcycle they were on collided with a tree in Montenegro, west of Bogota, Colombia.

The horror unfolded in the early hours of 26 May, as reported on Need To Know.

However, the harrowing clip was only recently discovered on one of the victim’s phones.

The accident happened as the women travelled from Pueblo Tapao to the centre of Montenegro.

Several passing drivers saw the aftermath and called the police.

However, both women died at the scene before emergency medics arrived.

The authorities are reportedly investigating whether the state of the road played a part in the crash.
