A Met Police spokesperson said: “Arrested, delivery to custody.

“Following patrols, officers spotted a food delivery rider cycle through a red light at speed.

“The male was subsequently stopped, further checks revealed he was wanted by immigration.

“Male arrested.

“Apologies if that was your takeaway.”

He was collared by two uniformed officers on Tuesday (18 Jun), as reported Need To Know.
