A deliveryman pulled out a machete on two thugs trying to rob him in the street.
The CCTV clip shows the courier parked on the pavement outside a property at night.
He notices two hooded men lingering in the street and reaches inside his food bag.
One thug makes a beeline for the courier as his pal apparently tries to flank him on the other side.

However, the delivery man pulls out the machete from inside the bag and the first thug sprints away in shock.
The courier chases his accomplice and knocks him to the ground.
He then appears to use the large blade to attack the screaming suspect on the ground.
The other thug is seen trying to reason with the deliveryman who quickly turns his attention to him.
The suspect promptly flees the scene and abandons his pal, as reported by Need To Know.
The alleged robbery attempt took place in the barrio of Brazo Oriental in the Uruguayan capital Montevideo at around 10pm on Saturday (22 Jun).
One local said: “Carrying out a community service while at work, is there anything this man doesn’t do well?”

It is unclear if the suspect was injured by the machete-wielding courier while defending himself on the ground.
Cops are investigating.
