A woman who chose her lottery ticket because of its bright colours has won a staggering $4 million (£3 million).
Rachel Sadler, from Lincolnton, North Carolina, in the US, was so entranced by the blue and yellow appearance of the $30 (£23) ticket that she took a gamble.
And certainly paid off, as reported by Need To Know.

Rachel purchased the Supreme 7s ticket at Save Mart in Lincolnton.
It was her first time playing that specific game, so she went with the ticket she was attracted to.
“I guess I just liked the blue and white colour,” Rachel told North Carolina Education Lottery.
“I think I’m still in a state of shock.
“I’ve got a bunch of grandkids.
“I want to make sure they have a nice future.
“The story comes after a North Carolina resident closed his eyes and pointed at random numbers, only to win over £300,000 on his wife’s birthday.

John Ross, 56, said it wasn’t the first time he’d tried the tactic either.
Nonetheless, he matched each of the five numbers on the Lucky for Life Lottery.
He even had the choice of receiving £19,442 ($25,000) each year for the rest of his days or receiving an outright £303,301 ($390,000).
He chose the very large sum.
