Maeva said: “I’m not afraid of you, you have no morals.
“I will never respect you.
“I have never hidden from anyone.”
Two suspects reportedly attacked the influencer’s home in Marseille, France, on Sunday (8 Sept), as reported by Need To Know.
They fired at her front door with a shotgun before launching Molotov cocktails, crude bombs that typically consist of a bottle filled with a flammable liquid and a wick that is ignited before throwing.
Maeva was able to remotely report the attack to the emergency services before the fire could spread.
The bombs did start a blaze, but it was promptly extinguished by firefighters on the scene.
Police confirmed that two 12-gauge casings were found at the scene along with several “incendiary devices”.
According to reports, CCTV images showed that two men had invaded her property earlier the same day.
Police are investigating whether they were the same duo who allegedly attacked the victim’s home later that night.
Maeva said she was travelling to Dubai at the time of the attack and that her mother filed a complaint with the authorities on her behalf.
The Marseille prosecutor’s office said in a statement: “We have opened an investigation for the crimes of violence with a weapon and destruction by incendiary means.”
The police probe is ongoing.
Maeva, a former reality TV star, has been the victim of alleged attack before.
In November 2020, three men stole her handbag and jewellery at knifepoint in front of her house.
And in 2021, her grandmother’s front door was riddled with bullets in a similar incident to the assault on her home over the weekend.
Last year, she told the police that she had been threatened by members of the DZ Mafia in Marseille.
