The president of Yamaha Motor has allegedly been stabbed by his daughter during a heated row in the early hours of the morning.
Hana Hidaka, 33, has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.
She is accused of stabbing her father Yoshihiro Hidaka.

The 61-year-old CEO of Yamaha Motor reportedly suffered an injury to his left arm.
The police were called to the family’s home in Iwata, Japan, at around 3am on 16 September.
The suspect, who is unemployed, placed the call to the police and alleged that her father had beaten her.
The police said she also called them at around 5.30pm the previous day, as reported by Need To Know.

Officers visited the house after the first call, but no arrests were made.
It has not been disclosed whether the suspect has admitted to the charge of attempted murder.
An official for Yamaha Motor, an automobile manufacturer based in Iwata, said they will not comment on the allegation as it is considered a “private matter that is under investigation”.
The police probe is ongoing.
