A model who was reportedly voted ‘the perfect woman’ by Playboy has revealed she gets salmon sperm injected into her bum.
Janaína Prazeres has hit headlines in the past for her sexy photoshoots and spicy Instagram snaps.
But the 35-year-old, who boasts 670,000 online followers, has now lifted the lid on a rather unique procedure that keeps her bottom looking peachy.
Janaína says she spends a shocking £9,200 ($12,000) a month on what she calls her “bum bum care routine”.
“The technique involves applying the sperm through micro-needling, which promises to firm and rejuvenate the skin,” the São Paulo, Brazil, native told Need To Know.
“But I don’t undergo this procedure occasionally like most people. For me, it’s a daily ritual.
“There are no breaks.”
Salmon sperm injections, also known as polynucleotide treatments, is a skin treatment that involves injecting the purified, filtered, and sterilized DNA extract from salmon sperm into the skin.
Janaína said: “I think even before I was titled the world’s perfect woman by Playboy, I already took care of that part.
“But knowing I can use salmon sperm to make it even better is exciting.”
It is alleged that the procedure increases collagen and keratinocyte production, which makes the skin thicker, healthier, and more hydrated.
It is also reported to help acne, pigmentation, red veins, rosacea, and inflammation, according to Women’s Health.
But Janaína has confessed that her intense self-care routine has been problematic in romantic relationships.
She said: “I take hours to get ready.
“Once, a date waited for about two hours, which to me is reasonable.
“But he sent me a message saying it was unacceptable.”
But she also believes her Playboy title scares off potential suitors.
She said: “Men judge you just for being beautiful.
“It’s like you can’t be both intelligent and beautiful.
“You have to be one or the other.”
For now, she plans to continue to use the salmon sperm injections and attend daily appointments.
