The man gets back up, swinging the reptile in a horrifying brawl.
The snake continues to raise its head and neck, a common tactic used to make themselves appear larger and more threatening.
It then spreads its ribs and muscles on either side of its neck to create a hood.
But the man throws it to the ground.
The pair end up in a cycle of getting up and falling down until the man eventually gets it by the side of the road, as reported by Need To Know.
The snake seems to finally give in before slithering away.
The man then lets go of its tail and walks back to his car.
The moment was caught on 2 December in Guangdong, China, by a passerby.
