A 78-year-old man miraculously survived after being hit by a train while crossing a railway line.
CCTV footage shows him strolling casually across the tracks as a loco clearly approaches from the left.
Although he has plenty of time to stop and let the train pass, he continues walking into its path with his gaze fixed straight ahead.

As he walks over the line, the train hits him side-on and knocks him onto his side.
Luckily, he hits the ground just to the side of the tracks.
Mercifully, he avoids being run over as the train continues on its way.
The accident happened on Wednesday (18 Dec) morning in Paranaguá, southwest of Sao Paulo, Brazil.
Paramedics turned up and treated the OAP after locals called the emergency services.
Somewhat incredibly, the elderly man told the first responders he had failed to hear or see the oncoming train.
He was reportedly disorientated but remained conscious as he was given first aid.
After complaining about acute pain in his hip, he was taken to a hospital in the city for a check-up.
As of last (19 Dec) night, he was still being kept under observation.
The hospital is withholding information about his condition, as reported by Need To Know.
The rail transport company Rumo Logística had not responded to local media’s request for comment at the time of reporting.
