A foolish motorist got instant justice when he made a risky double overtake as a police car approached.
The dopey driver was travelling behind a moped and another car on a residential road.
Both the other car and the scooter were travelling slowly.
But the motorist travelling at the back pulled out to overtake both of them.
However, they were forced to go the wrong way around a traffic island before they could pull back in.
In the distance, another vehicle could be seen coming towards them.
But it was in fact an unmarked police car with its blue flashing lights on.
The cop pulled up and gave the driver a talking-to.
It happened at 7:38 pm on Saturday (11 January) in Uxbridge, west London.
Locals slammed the driver for the manoeuvre, as reported on Need To Know.
One said: “Perfect example of bad timing.”

Yet Daljit Singh Dhaliwal added: “More like the perfect time.”
Another joked: “Certain men get stage one and think they’re Lewis Hamilton.”
But Ali Hassan Awaisi said: “Okay, but what the f*ck is the other driver doing?”

The Met Police has been approached for comment.
