A radio DJ has been mysteriously found dead in her own home.
Vanessa Ochoa’s death came as a total shock after her work colleagues revealed that she was finalising the details of a project just one day before.
The woman’s family confirmed that she had passed away.

She was known as ‘Galena’ during her time as a radio presenter for Radio Uno Pereira, based in Colombia.
Details surrounding her death remain a mystery.
Her body was discovered at her home in Pereira, west of the capital, Bogota.
Vanessa has three young girls.

According to Radio Uno, the relevant procedures are being carried out by the Prosecutor’s Office and authorities to determine what happened.
The day before her death, Vanessa had participated in a photoshoot for new programs scheduled by the station, as reported by Need To Know.
These images have since been shared and are thought to be the last photos ever taken of her.
In the photos, she appears to be in high spirits and flashes a huge smile at the camera.
A Radio Uno spokesperson said: “Our colleague and former coworker, Vanessa Ochoa, better known as ‘Galena’, as she liked to be called, was found dead in her home.”

“The unfortunate news was confirmed by her sister.
“At this time, the relevant procedures are being carried out with the Prosecutor’s Office and other authorities.
“God bless her three daughters, her mother and other family members, in the face of this unexpected situation that leaves us dismayed and very moved.

“See you soon Galena, we will miss you.”
She was found dead on Saturday (11 Jan).
