A model who makes a fortune selling saucy snaps and videos online reveals her family members have now been inspired to follow in her footsteps.
When Mona Wu first started making videos with her boyfriend to share with adoring fans, she worried about what her relatives would say.
The 33-year-old, who made £100,000 a month in her first year, had a traditional upbringing in a household where sex was a taboo topic.
To her surprise, Mona’s mum was delighted with her new job – while her uncle, aunt and cousin asked if they could make money this way, too.
“I was afraid of being scolded,” said the model who has 374,000 followers on Instagram.

“My family followed a rather traditional upbringing with the belief that girls should grow up to get married.
“Sex education was vague and unclear.
“I hid my career from them at first but when they eventually found out, I was shocked by their reaction.
“Everyone was very supportive – especially my mother.

“She encourages me to pursue my talent and passion.
“My aunt even said I helped rejuvenate her stale sex life by being so open about my work and inspiring her to follow in my footsteps.”
Mona has been sharing adult content for around eight years after quitting her customer service gig on a gaming live-streaming platform.

She says her previous occupation has helped her develop skills in responding to messages and building relationships with fans.
A few years ago, Mona’s aunt and uncle asked for advice on how they could replicate her success.
She said: “They were keen to get involved and wondered if it was possible to earn good money without showing their faces.

“I had no hesitation in helping them.
“I believe in the saying ‘God helps those who help themselves’.
“As long as anyone wants to enter this industry, I will support them.”
Mona doesn’t shoot content with her aunt or uncle but she does advise them on how to film videos with their faces hidden.

The couple owned their own business before the dramatic career change.
Mona’s cousin also decided to join the family business after her divorce in 2020.
The model, who is from Taiwan, said: “After my cousin got divorced, she struggled for a while.

“She wanted to try adult content but was hesitant about showing her face – I suggested a solution where I could blur her face in the videos.
“It’s been a great side hustle for my aunt and uncle, who now earn way more than most workers in our home country.
“My mom doesn’t know about their new career yet, though.”
