With Valentines day just around the corner I have the perfect spot for you.

If a red rose and table for two at your local isn’t doing it for you this year – why not treat your other half to a romantic night or two at Park Plaza Westminster Bridge, London.

I took a trip to try out their sought after Romance Experience, and it’s fair to say it didn’t disappoint.

The package includes an overnight stay, breakfast, bottle of bubbles, upgraded room and even a late check out so you can cuddle up in bed for as long as you need.

Not only this but the hotel also offers a spa and swimming pool, which I obviously had to visit.

The delectable package is an ideal treat for the one you adore, starting at arrival.

Upon arriving to the Park Plaza Westminster Bridge, I was met with their beautiful outdoor setting, fairy lights and incredible decor.

Inside I was greeted by concierge who politely pointed me in the right direction of Reception, and on my way I also spotted their stunning illy Caffé and private business lounge.

After a little bit of a wait, albiet it was a Saturday, I was met with a lovely receptionist as well as the guest relations manager, who’m both welcomed us as welcoming as I could ask for, and walked me and my partner to the bar while we waited on the “final touches” to be made to our room.

We were then collected and walked to our upgraded suite where a bottle of bubbly and some treats were waiting for us.

And wow was the room impressive.

Upon entering we were met with the cosy lounge area, with a TV, mirror, wardrobe and comfy sofa.

Down the hall was the bathroom with a deep bath, hot shower, big mirror, sink and Espa toiletries which smelled divine.

Onto the part everyone waits for is the bedroom, with a king size bed, flatscreen TV, touch lighting system and of course the incredible view.

We got to overlook Big Ben, Westminster Bridge and the river Thames as we relaxed on the bed and took our first sip of prosecco – the best way to spend time with your valentine.

As you do on a trip away, me and my partner then visited spots around London before going for dinner, drinks, and coming back to the spacious bed.

In the morning, the Valentines celebrations were carried on even more when we took ourselves to the breakfast area.

Here they offer continental, including pastries, cold meats, cheeses, cereals, oats, yoghurts and fruit.

As well as hot plates which include sausages, bacon and eggs, as well as a toaster and cooked tomatoes.

You also get the option from a selection of juices, coffee, tea and sparkling or still water.

After our delicious and very filling breakfast we decided to treat ourselves and finish off our night away at the spa, where there is the option to book a massage or simply enjoy the warm pool, sauna and steam room.

Sadly, it then came to our time to leave, which was sad for both of us as both the hotel and the staff had made it such an amazing night away.

We couldn’t have asked for anything more and those final touches made the entire experience really special.

If you are looking to whisk away your other half I highly recommend the Park Plaza Westminster Bridge, London.

It is the perfect city break, meeting the hustle and bustle with a relaxing and calming environment.

You can book the romance package now for Valentines and up till the 31st of December 2025, with them extending the sought after package just for the lovers.
