She is now said to be out of danger and is recovering from her ordeal in hospital.
The boar attack took place in the village of Lianshui near Hanzhong City, China, on 12 February.
According to reports, the huge animal entered a residential area and ran straight towards the elderly victim.
Footage shows her defending herself with her walking stick before being knocked to the ground.
The wild boar then mauled her in the street outside her home as she screamed in pain.
A neighbour tried to stop the animal by hitting it with a wooden board.
The man also reportedly suffered injuries to his legs.
The local police confirmed that they tracked down the large boar shortly afterwards and shot it dead.
They said it weighed “over 100 kg (15.7 stone)”.
