A suspected UFO has been spotted hovering above a Jesus statue during a religious service.
The possible alien spaceship was snapped by a stunned devotee at the landmark.
The mysterious Saturn-shaped object was observed in the clear blue sky above the Christ statue.
He took the photos while attending mass at the Cerro del Cubilete landmark in Silao, located northwest of Mexico City, Mexico.
The 75-foot statue of Jesus, called Christ the King, stands at 8,461 feet above sea level – 492 feet higher than Machu Picchu in Peru.
The attraction was erected at the geographical centre of Mexico.
One local said: “It’s an alien navigator.”
Rosanna added: “It sure looks like a UFO.”
Flor remarked: “They’re going to be abducted.”
Dozens of alleged UFO sightings have been reported in the region in recent years.
In October, a suspected UFO was spotted hovering above a petrol station in Cuernavaca, located south of Mexico City.
Footage shows at least two motorists gawping at the alleged spacecraft in the sky.
As they filmed with their phones, the suspected alien craft was silhouetted by the searing sun.
The cameraperson said: “We are here on the corner of Teopanzolco Avenue and Plan de Ayala Avenue.
“It’s not only me, there are various people here seeing this.”
He added: “It’s suspended here.”
One local joked: “They went to call home.”
Another said: “It’s wobbling on a piece of string so it’s fake.”
A third added: “It’s a UFO, they say they live in nearby Tepoztlán.”
