An Audi driver almost crashed at a notorious roundabout after losing control of the £50,000 vehicle.
Shocking footage shows the luxury motor tapping a barrier and scratching its side just outside the posh Cheshire village of Alderley Edge on Saturday (8 March).
The hair-raising near miss was captured by car enthusiast Scott Pattyson.

“I was standing on the island capturing car content when the Audi lost traction and unfortunately hit the curb,” the 19-year-old told Need To Know.
“Luckily the car only suffered damage to one back wheel and the driver was unharmed.
“Me and the other guys often go to that place near Manchester to do some car spotting.
“Because it’s a rich area, we usually see a lot.”
Alderley Edge is popular with Premier League footballers.
Cristiano Ronaldo, David Beckham, Rio Ferdinand and Wayne Rooney all lived in the area while playing for Manchester United.
More recently, the village has been home to Trent Alexander-Arnold, Virgil van Dijk, Jordan Henderson and Raheem Sterling.
In January, another car crashed at the notorious spot.
And this one was left in tatters.
In video footage of the incident, the BMW M3 Competition could be seen speeding around a sharp corner on a main road before its back end veered onto the wrong side of the road.
It then swerved the other way and crossed into the right-hand lane, before the front end of the car crashed into the barrier – sending shrapnel flying.
The motor then spun around and came to a halt across the two lanes, with a large piece of metalwork hanging off.
After the clip was posted on YouTube, users were far from sympathetic towards the driver – claiming they didn’t know how to handle the premium motor properly.
Scott spotted this accident too and added: “We filmed that car as usual but then the back end spun out.
“The car went into the barriers and then drove off down the road to later be recovered.
“There was oil leaking from the car, so me and the other guys thought we’d help out by putting some cones in the road – blocking one of the lanes.
“We got a van down with some cleaning stuff in, cleared up a bit of the mess and tried to get rid of the oil.
“The we phoned the police on 101, letting them know to send some people down to observe the scene.”
