A hero cop has saved a choking baby.

The quick-thinking cop then firmly patted the baby’s back until she became responsive.
Footage showed the officer patting the tot’s back with her open palm until she started crying.
The official then held the baby up to make sure she was breathing again.
The rescue took place at the Military Police Station in Belo Horizonte, Brazil, on 13 March.
Officer Ribeiro managed to clear the baby’s airways just as she was starting to turn blue, a condition known as cyanosis.
After being saved, the newborn, named Iris, was taken to hospital for medical checks, as reported by Need To Know.
One local said: “Well done Sergeant Glaucia. And congratulations Military Police, the best police force in Brazil.”
